  • Every bag I make tells a story! I hand-select bold, uniquely-named fabrics (think "Swirl Frenzy" or "Peacock Paisley") and thoughtfully place every pocket for real-world function. You won't find these patterns in mass-produced bags, and I make no more than 3-4 bags per fabric—so your bag is truly one-of-a-kind. Plus, each seam is checked during quilting, and every completed bag gets a thorough inspection before it's finished. You're getting maker-owned authenticity and a piece that helps you express your unique personality.

  • I participate in craft fairs throughout New England—it's where 90% of my sales happen, and I love meeting customers face-to-face! Follow me on Instagram (@emeraldstitchquilting) or Facebook for upcoming event announcements. Some of my regular shows include events with Ocean State Artisans and popular fall festivals. You can find my in person event schedule here: Event Calendar

  • ricing is consistent whether you shop online or at a fair—every bag is handmade with the same care and quality! That said, fairs are a great place to see multiple styles at once, and customers often add a coin or peak pouch to their purchase while they're there.

  • Because each bag is handmade by just me (hi! 👋), I create limited quantities—usually no more than 3-4 bags per fabric pattern. This keeps each piece special and unique, but it also means popular styles sell out quickly! Once a fabric is gone, it's usually gone for good, since I love exploring new patterns and keeping things fresh.

  • Probably not—and here's why! Part of what makes each bag unique is that I use eclectic fabric choices and move on to new patterns regularly. I love the creative energy of working with fresh fabrics, and it means you're getting something truly limited. If you fall in love with a bag, I always recommend grabbing it while you can!

  • The best way is to follow me on Instagram (@emeraldstitchquilting), Facebook, or TikTok—I share new releases and behind-the-scenes peeks at what I'm working on! You can also check the website regularly, especially on Mondays and Thursdays when I'm most active. And if you've purchased before, keep an eye on your email—I'm working on better ways to keep my community in the loop!

  • I appreciate the enthusiasm, and I'd love to hear what you're drawn to! While I don't take custom fabric requests or guarantees, feel free to let me know what colors, patterns, or styles you're looking for at info@emeraldstitchquilting.com. I keep customer preferences in mind when I'm selecting fabrics for future collections—it helps me understand what resonates with you! Part of my creative process is choosing fabrics that inspire me in the moment, which keeps the work joyful and authentic. What I create is what you'll see available online or at craft fairs. Trust me, there's always something colorful and bold coming next!

  • I don't offer custom sizing or color changes. Each bag is designed with specific proportions and fabric combinations that work together as a complete piece. The Vibe and Echo styles are perfected designs that balance function, style, and structure—and I want you to love exactly what I've created!

  • I'm not taking custom commissions right now. My creative energy goes into designing and making the bags you see in my shop and at craft fairs. What's available is what I'm inspired to create—and I promise there's always something special coming!

  • Currently, I only ship within the continental United States. I'm a one-person operation, and keeping shipping simple helps me focus on creating beautiful bags for you!

  • If you're in the New England area, you might catch me at a craft fair! Check my Instagram or Facebook for upcoming events—it's a great way to see the bags in person, skip shipping costs, and say hi. Otherwise, all online orders ship directly to you.

  • Reach out to me at info@emeraldstitchquilting.com before ordering, and I'll do my best to accommodate rush requests if possible. I can't always guarantee specific delivery dates, but I'll be honest about what's realistic!

  • Spot cleaning is your best bet! Use a damp cloth with mild soap for any marks or spills, and let it air dry. The quilted cotton exterior is durable, but I don't recommend machine washing, as it could affect the structure and hardware over time.

  • I don't recommend it. The stabilizers, interfacing, and hardware are designed for durability, but machine washing could compromise the bag's structure and shape. Spot cleaning will keep your bag looking fresh without the risk!

  • Reach out to me at info@emeraldstitchquilting.com! I stand behind my work. While I inspect every bag thoroughly before it leaves my hands, I'm happy to help troubleshoot or discuss repair options if something happens.
