Peacock Paisley Vega Bag

This is the bag you reach for when you need everything with you and you still want to look like yourself. The Peacock Paisley Vega is structured, roomy, and completely impossible to overlook.

The exterior is wrapped in a deep purple peacock paisley that has real weight and richness to it — a print with the kind of visual complexity that rewards a second look. The straps and trim are cut from an orange swirl shimmer accent fabric that catches light differently depending on the angle, adding a layer of contrast that makes the whole bag feel considered rather than assembled. Against a coordinating blue lining inside, every time you open it is a small moment of something beautiful.

The Vega is built differently than the Nova, and that difference is the point. This is a structured carry-all designed to hold more and organize it better. Two large side accordion compartments expand to accommodate full-size notebooks, tablets, a water bottle, or whatever your day actually demands — one of those compartments includes an interior slip pocket for smaller items. The center zip compartment features slip pockets on both interior sides, giving you dedicated spots for cards, pens, a charger, or anything you want flat and findable. Comfortable top handles let you carry it as a tote when your hands are free. The adjustable crossbody strap gives you a hands-free option when they are not. At 14 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and 6 inches deep, this bag holds a full day — laptop included.

I made this bag by hand in my New England studio, from fabric selection through the final seam check. Each Vega takes real time to build, which is why I only make a limited number of any single print. When a fabric runs out, I move on. This particular combination of peacock paisley and shimmer trim will not repeat.

Spot clean only with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not machine wash — the stabilizers, interfacing, and hardware are designed for durability but machine washing could affect the bag's structure and shape.
